COLORADO MIDDLE ALL STATE CHOIR

The Best in the State

Middle school student from across the State of Colorado come together at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver to create something awesome!  The finest singers assemble in early March under the direction of internationally-recognized composers and directors with a specialty in middle school ensembles.

Auditions take place at Kinard through a recording process in late-September / early-October for a $21 audition feel.  Over 1500 seventh and eighth grade students audition, and Kinard has sent choir members to All State every year of its existence.  Follow the links below to prepare your audition, hear rehearsal tracks, view practice videos, and find more information on this wondrous performance.

The use of Tibetan bells and wind chimes provides an ethereal atmosphere that is echoed in the music and text. Originally written for young voices, this piece would also be effective by a treble choir of older voices. Its festival use has already become popular for any season. Easy to Medium in difficulty.
