Wassail!
Carols of Comfort and Joy

Romsey Abbey & The Church of St. Mary & St. Nicholas

England - December 2024

Mr. Wheeler and the Kinard Choirs have established a cross-Atlantic professional collaboration with British composer Alexander L'Estrange.  Kinard has performed Mr. L'Estrange's choral works since 2013 and Alexander came to the United States to work with the choir in 2017.

In December, 2024 the Kinard Choir travelled across the Atlantic to join with adult and children's choirs in England to perform Alexander's wonderful Christmas song cycle Wassail! Carols of Comfort and Joy.  Our choir sang in 2 performances along with choirs from Barton Peveril College, the Kate Edgar Singers, The Downton Choir, and the Chafyn Grove School, directed by Alexander L'Estrange himself!
